Embryo Development and Chick Performance of Local Chicken Following In-Ovo Injection of L-Arginine Into Local Chicken Eggs

This study aims to determine the effect of in-ovo injection L-arginine into local chicken eggs on embryo development and chick performance chicken. A total 160 were incubated using semi-automatic incubator with temperature 37-38C relative humidity 55-65%. The injected solution has a concentration 0.5% (m/v). In treatment was divided 4 groups, first without (control), second 0.2 mL (m/v)/egg, third 0.4 solution. fourth 0.6 0.5%(m/v)/egg. results showed that mortality hatchability lower than injection. All treatments no extraembryonic fluid absorption, but there an increase in weight 0.2, 0.4, L-Arginine /eggs 2,355 g, 2,577 2,705, respectively. conclusion, good (the beneficial effect) death performance. Injection ml improved Newly Hatched Chick Weight (NHCW).
